Walrus Share is a file sharing app based on Walrus' distributed storage, offering sharing permissions for files. It uses JavaScript running within your web browser to encrypt and decrypt files client-side, in-browser. Files are encrypted using AES-CBC 256-bit symmetric encryption. The encryption key is derived from the password and a random salt using PBKDF2 derivation with 10000 iterations of SHA256 hashing.
Walrus Share lets you choose between free, verification code, and paid versions. With free, any user can see the files you upload, or can choose to generate a verification code that users will need to view your files. The third option requires users to pay SUI to view files.
